The Mystery of Christ
Hearing the Voice of the One Who Lives in You
Hidden for Ages. Spoken to You.
by Lee Richards
You have read about Him for years. Have you ever heard Him speak?
There is a difference, and the New Testament has a word for it your English does not carry. Logos is the written Word on the page — the one you read, the one preached on Sunday. Rhēma is the spoken Word — the one that arrives in a person, in a moment, in their own room, with their own name folded into it. Most of us have been handed a great deal of logos. This book was written to give you rhēma.
The Mystery of Christ is written in the voice in which He still speaks to a listening soul — not a book about Him, but His own voice unfolding the one secret the apostle Paul called the mystery: Christ in you, the hope of glory. Across eighteen chapters of Greek and Hebrew word studies and Spirit-led revelation, you will not merely study the mystery. You will hear it spoken to you.
You will discover who God actually is — His name, His character, what the worn English word “god” was never able to tell you — and how He differs from every counterfeit the world has offered in His place. You will be brought past the torn veil into a nearness no other god has ever offered his worshippers. You will learn to recognize His voice — the current that drew you to this very page — and to know it from your own thoughts.
If you have never heard Him speak, or have heard Him for years and were never sure it was Him, you are the reader this book was written for. The Father draws. The Spirit stirs. The Son speaks. These pages are an offering of what was heard.
This is not a book about Christ. It is His voice, telling you what was hidden — and is hidden no longer.
The door is open. The veil is torn. He is closer than this page. Come and hear Him.
